OPTIS is proud to announce SPEOS 2013.

Airbus’ ADVANS program (Accelerated Development for Vulnerability and Nonlinear System) consists of innovative simulation methods to apply the advanced nonlinear dynamic analysis capabilities of SIMULIA Abaqus to predict, with a high level of confidence, the real-world strength and performance of its aircraft structures. Accurate, nonlinear analysis, done earlier in the design phase and prior to performing costly physical tests, results in a higher quality design, faster, and at a lower cost. Airbus designers and engineers will create very large simulation models, leveraging their aircraft models designed in the CATIA application. Then, by using high-performance computing clusters, they will be able to perform full-scale, nonlinear structural simulations with SIMULIA Abaqus overnight.

Benefits:
  • More productive product development
  • Better product quality, faster development, lower costs
  • More informed decision making
  • Faster, more efficient modeling
  • Better compliance with standards and product requirements
  • Up to 70 percent reduction in simulation modeling and solution time
  • More analysis solutions for optimization and multiphysics

Multiphysics Starts Now:

Now assess and optimize your optical design systems according parameters such as current, voltage or temperature.

Directly Achieve Your Standard :

Obtain directly compliant results with Street Lighting & Automotive head Lighting industries Standards.

New Applications For Detection, Recognition, And Identification:

Radiometric simulation in infrared wavelength ranges (NIR, MIR, FIR) but also for digital vision in the visible range have been drastically improved.

One Step Beyond Optical Simulation:

Now with the New partnership with FLUXIM, start with simulated opto-electronics OLED components using FLUXiMSetfos tools.

Analyse Existing Shapes Built From 3D Measurement:

STL file format imported in CATIA V5 product can now be used in SPEOS Light Modeling & Visual Ergonomics simulation allowing the analysis and eventually the correction of existing shapes built from 3D measurement.

Access To Polarization Effects That Influence Optical Performances Of Products And The Way You See Them, Lit And Unlit:

Create ideal polarizers with polarizer modeling and polarization analysis capabilities. For you engineers and researchers designing display itself or product using display (phones, navigation system, HUD, …) from electronics, automotive, aerospace and defense industries. Even polarized glasses can now be wear.

OPTIS Great Come Back To Optical Design Which Made Its Success:

With the goal to answer the global conception process, and to integrate optics capabilities in the preliminary phases ODESIS opens new connections to stress effects, thermal effects, motion systems,… during the design of an optical system.

Optical Shape Design: OSD

Optical Shape Design (OSD) completes SPEOS simulation & analysis product line (Light Modeling, Visual Ergonomics) with automatic geometry generation dedicated to optical and lighting system design.

Digital Vision & Surveillance: DVS

DVS provides a unique solution to model and optimize the positioning and performance of Digital Vision systems.
  • Widen camera field of view analysis capabilities and accelerate analysis in the first steps of the process.
  • Camera Field of View Analysis solution have been extended with optical distortion simulation based on graphic properties.

3D Texture For Better Light Management:

OPTIS optical software incorporates the advanced pattern description of a 3D textures generator to automatically manage light extraction from any light pipe or backlight systems, in view to have it more visible, more uniform and more efficient.
