EDS Technologies, in collaboration with Dassault Systèmes, successfully hosted a seminar on Driving Supply Chain Excellence with the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform at the Dassault Systèmes India Pune campus, showcasing how pre-manufacturing functions such as design, simulation, engineering validation, and cross-functional collaboration can seamlessly operate within a single connected digital environment before production begins. The session highlighted enhanced APQP traceability, stronger RFQ strategies, MODSIM-driven workflows, and the growing role of BPM and AI in improving process efficiency, decision-making, and program readiness. A key attraction of the event was the exclusive tour of the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab, where participants explored immersive technology environments, witnessed live platform demonstrations, and experienced Virtual Twin capabilities that enable digital simulation and management of products, processes, and performance.

Our CTO Karthikeyan Varadarajan visited Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology on February 12, 2026, for a interaction aimed at enhancing industry–academia collaboration. The session focused on exploring joint research opportunities, industry-aligned skill development, student innovation support, and product development initiatives. Discussions also highlighted the importance of simulation-driven design, digital engineering solutions, and hands-on industry exposure for engineering students. The visit marks a positive step toward building long-term partnerships that promote innovation, employability, and real-world learning experiences.

As EV and next-generation vehicle platforms evolve, manufacturing decisions are increasingly being driven by material behavior, process capability, and system-level efficiency, rather than isolated technology choices. This viewpoint was shared by our Senior General Manager – Technical, Srikumar Maganti, during the panel on Lightweight Materials and Hybrid Machining at the 2nd ACMA India – Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’​ Association (IMTMA) Auto Components Industry Transformation Summit. Drawing from deep industry experience, Srikumar highlighted the real-world trade-offs in material selection and the critical shift from conventional to hybrid machining. Achieving gains in performance and sustainability requires a tighter alignment between design intent and manufacturing realities.
