July 13, 2009. Bangalore: EDS Technologies launches CATIA training program for Engineering students at MSRIT. This signaled the collaboration between EDS Technologies and MSRIT (www.msrit.edu), one of the leading engineering institutions in India, to bring industry-specific training to engineering students with the objective of making them industry-ready and productive from the moment they pass out of college.
They will be trained on the fundamentals of CATIA the most widely-used PLM tool in the world. Further programmes of higher level are also planned in the near future, according to Mr. S. Swaminathan, Country Head – Training, EDST, and Dr. M. K. Muralidhara, HOD, Mechanical Engineering., MSRIT.
