EDS Technologies, India’s largest PLM and Visual Simulation solution provider, showcased its Casting Process Simulation tools (SOLIDCast, FLOWCast, OPTICast) at the International Foundry Exhibition (IFEX), Chennai. The exhibition was organized by the Indian Institute of Foundrymen at Chennai Trade Centre from 7th to 10th Feb 2008.

Casting Process Simulation tools from EDST helps foundries and metal casting units to design, visualize, simulate and optimize the complete processes of casting – methoding, pouring, solidification, cooling systems etc. These tools also predicts shrinkage formation, misruns, hot spots etc and optimize the process to free the foundry engineer from traditional trial and error methods.
