After the very successful 1st ever “Multigen Paradigm User forum” in 2005, EDS Technologies recently organized the 2nd “Multigen Paradigm User Forum – 06”.
The focus of this event was to provide end to end content creation and delivery solutions for a wide variety of applications including flight simulation, sensor and IR solutions, urban simulation, 3D GIS simulation, Simulator training and audio simulation. Multigen Paradigm’s suite of commercial-off-the shelf (COTS), cross platform software tools enables its users to create and view interactive high-fidelity realtime 3D applications with maximum productivity and efficiency.
This Interactive forum provided an insight into the complete range of visual simulation products and realtime 3D solutions to both existing users and organizations who would like to learn more. The aim of this forum would be to offer an introduction into the simulation industry, global trends in simulation, user case studies, real time demonstrations and an insight into all the simulation tools which EDS Technologies has to offer.
The forum also included a session on tools and toolkits for distributed simulators, sessions on PC bases tactical military trainers, desktop simulators and Commercial-off-the-shelf simulation tools amongst others from MAK Technologies, the world leader in developing tools for distributed simulation and a product presentation on HP workstations engineered for high end Visual Simulation applications.

The event also featured demonstrations by Barco Systems, a world leader in professional markets, offering display and visualization solutions. Barco systems designs and develops solutions for large screen visualization and display of high end simulation and Virtual Reality solutions.

The forum featured in-depth presentations and discussions on all simulation tools and products. This was followed by case studies and paper presentations from some of our key simulation customers across India.

THE ULTIMATE CREATOR CONTEST :
As a part of the event, EDS Technologies organizind an exciting contest lined up for all end users called the “The Ultimate Creator Contest – 06”, which was a unique Multigen Paradigm products modeling contest open to all simulation tool users.
Any Multigen Paradigm tool user could send us a brief of their project with snapshots and working details ( no confidential data ) in a power point format and experts from MPI will select the two best and interesting projects. Winners ( max of 2 representatives ) per team would stand to win loads of goodies and prizes .
This year’s winner among the numerous entries was the presentation from CVRDE, Chennai.
