This seminar was conducted to provide a forum to academia and industry to deliberate on the various themes such as research in newer materials, manufacturing processes and new technologies towards the development of the environment friendly vehicles which is need of the hour.The Chief Guest, Dr Dasharath Ram Yadav, Director (Engineering), DRDL, Hyderabad, explained different growth aspects in the manufacturing sector in our country. He stressed on the application of cost-effective multidisciplinary technologies towards sustainable development. He also explained different stages of product development at indigenous level. |

| The National Convention of an Engineering Division of the Institute of Engineers (India) is the apex technical activity of the Division itself, which is organized annually. This convention would be highlighting the activities of division board through discussions and mutual interactions on technical content. A National Convention shall seek to achieve maximum involvement and participation of members and non-members as well. This is the activity, which also aims at establishing liaison between the institution, its members and the policy makers. |
