Overview
SIMULIA Regional Users' Meeting has always been a unique forum intended for an exchange of information on the usage and capabilities of Abaqus software among the user community. This year's meeting will be just as dynamic, providing an opportunity to learn how Abaqus users in industry are applying the latest simulation technology and methods.
Attendees will also discover new capabilities within the Abaqus Unified FEA product suite, future strategies of SIMULIA, and network with other users to share experiences and new ideas.

Agenda
The meeting agenda will feature paper presentations from Abaqus users as well as product presentations by SIMULIA personnel to discuss the latest software capabilities.
Presentation highlights include:
  • SESSION 1
    Ravi Salagame, Delphi Technical Center, will deliver the Keynote Presentation on the "Simulation Challenges within Delphi".  
  • SESSION 2
    Brad Heers is SIMULIA’s industry lead for the Automotive segment. He will highlight some of the recent developments within the Abaqus software for linear dynamics.
  • SESSION 3
    A discussion on optimization with case study examples will be presented by Aetos Design & Engineering Ltd.
  • SESSION 4
    Prashanth Vijalapura, Developer, SIMULIA, will deliver a detailed talk on the recent contact-related enhancements and their effective use.

The evening session is set aside for entertainment and networking with industrial peers.
