In the process chain
tooling the design of tools and dies is becoming
a more and more strategic subject for cost and time
reasons. Only efficient design methods lead to a
considerable reduction in the time to market and
thus to a cost reduction in tool and die design.
VAMOS CAA V5 based is an application
system which is completely integrated in CATIA V5,
it is an ideal solution for the process chain of
die design. VAMOS is a die design development tool
used with the CATIA software suite which helps you
create pre configured components viz dies, cams,
standard parts and working units such as steels,
buttons and punches.

| VAMOS is developed in close co-operation with car
manufacturers and suppliers enabling you to respond
flexibly to change and increases the efficiency
of your die manufacturing
process. Vamos is available in two modules one for
the Conventional die design and the other for Progressive
die design. With VAMOS the designer is able to concentrate
his know how completely on the definition of the
numerical, geometrical or topological parameters.
The actual modeling is done by the interpreter who
reads the parameter description and generates the
object automatically according to the parameter
